Do I need to wash my wig/topper? 

Yes, but not as often as you would your bio hair. Depending on whether you wear it all day every day, or occasionally, you may need to wash it between every 10-15 wears (if you use styling products, they might build up, so you might need to wash a little sooner, if you use minimal products, you might get away with it for longer!)

What products are best to use on my wig/topper? 

Use only sulphate free products (shampoo and conditioner) . We recommend the Love Noughty range (Noughty to the rescue shampoo, conditioner and mask will hydrate the hair without causing buildup). You may require to occasionally use a clarifying shampoo if you use hair products and/or live in hard water area. Noughty Detox Dynamo is a good option, or Kerastase metal detox. Other brands that make good sulphate free shampoo and conditioner are Kerastase and Pureology. Remember – hydration is key!

Use a conditioning mask every 2-3 washes, as the hair does not get natural oils from the scalp, like the bio hair would. 

Always use a heat protector (we recommend silicone/dimethicone free, as silicone may cause build up, which eventually leads to hair feeling dry and coarse and will require a clarifying shampoo to fix) if styling using heat tools, and never use heat above 180C, as it will shorten the life span of your hair piece by drying out/damaging the hair strands.

Use hair oil on ends after washing on damp hair to lock in moisture and every 2-3 days as required – a little goes a long way! We recommend argan oil with minimum bulking ingredients, like The Ordinary cold pressed argan oil.

To prevent colour fading, wear a hat when in direct sunlight for long periods of time, or use a specifically designed sun protection for hair. To refresh colour we recommend Maria Nila mask for coloured hair.

Customer satisfaction is our priority.  We offer refunds/exchanges on our ready to ship units if for any reason you’re not happy with your order, as long as we receive back in its original condition. The unit must be unworn (only tried on) and not been altered in any way.

On lace front wigs and toppers – DO NOT cut the lace if you wish to return or exchange the unit. Once the lace is cut off, we will not be able to exchange or refund the goods.

Please send us an email within 5 days of receiving your order, quoting your order number and full name, to authorise the return (or request exchange), and send it back to us in its original packaging along with any free gifts to the address provided in email. All shipping fees and customs charges are to be paid by the customer. Only send using signed for/special delivery services and retain proof of postage. Please also provide us with the tracking number. We will not be liable for your unit getting lost in the post. 

We will process an exchange or refund once the goods have been received and inspected (if we receive the unit and find that it has been worn or modified, we will not be able to refund or exchange it. In this case we will post it back to you, with shipping costs being paid upfront by the customer).

Custom orders: 

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on custom orders. For custom orders we collect your exact specifictions (we will double check we have everything correctly to avoid any disappointment) and email you pictures when the unit is finished, to make sure you are happy with the finished result, before posting it to you.
